Myron Hunzeker grew up on a family farm in Humboldt, Nebraska. He then went to Iowa State University where
he received his degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering during his four years. While Myron was
still in school, he interviewed with Trane Heating and Air Conditioning in Iowa. After graduation, Myron joined the Navy and served our country for three years. Once his service was complete in the Navy, Myron went through the graduate training for Trane in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Trane assigned Myron to the Peoria Trane office in July 1957, where he worked as a salesman. By June 1961, Myron, the youngest salesman to be assigned a franchise, took over the Peoria office. Over Fifty years later, Myron is still
enjoying overseeing the day to day operations.
